Built for real operations

The Asset Management System centralizes laptops, peripherals, tools, and consumables across locations. Administrators configure policy; managers approve; operations fulfill; employees request and track what they use.

Organizations with distributed teams

  • Branches, business units, departments, and vendors in one model
  • Non-consumable lifecycle: stock, issue, transfer, damage, loss
  • Consumables with quantities, expiry, and top-usage insight
  • Support tickets, email templates, and scheduled reports
  • Built-in RMM: endpoint monitoring, approval-only remote sessions, and patch management

Why teams adopt it

Instead of spreadsheets, you get a single source of truth with JWT-secured login, password flows, dashboards per role, and audit logging so every change is traceable.

The stack you deploy: Node.js, Express, EJS, MySQL — with nodemailer for notifications and cron-friendly jobs for stock and reminders.

Product capabilities

Mirrors the modules and flows documented for the Asset Management System.

Access & security

Admin, Manager, Operations, and Employee roles. JWT auth, change password, forgot-password email, session-aware UI.

Requests & approvals

Asset requests with multi-step approval, status tracking, and policy alignment (categories, types, purposes, manufacturers).

Inventory & stock

Real-time stock for consumable and non-consumable assets, expiring items, damaged/lost states, and branch-level views.

Issue, return, transfer

Track who holds which asset, returns, and movements between users or locations without losing history.

Email & automation

Configurable templates, action links in mail, scheduled stock reports, and ticket-resolution messaging.

Helpdesk, RMM & audit

Support tickets with resolution workflows and audit logs. Built-in RMM monitors enrolled endpoints, shows online status on assets and tickets, and enables approval-only remote support plus Windows patch scan/install from the helpdesk.

New capability

Remote Management of Endpoints (RMM)

Go For Assets now includes an in-house Remote Monitoring & Management layer — tightly integrated with your asset register and helpdesk. No separate RMM portal to juggle: technicians see device health, inventory, and ticket context in one place.

A lightweight Windows agent enrolls against each asset, reports heartbeat and hardware inventory, and enables secure remote assistance when the end user explicitly approves. Outbound-only connections keep firewalls friendly for distributed teams.

Helpdesk opens a ticket Device linked to asset record — online status visible instantly
End user approves remote session Technician name, ticket number, and company shown in tray dialog
Technician assists from the browser Screen share and remote control via WebRTC — full audit trail on the ticket

Why RMM matters for IT operations

Close the gap between knowing what you own and being able to support it — without bolting on a third-party tool.

Assets + support unified

Enrollment ties each agent to an asset item. Inventory syncs hostname, OS, serial, CPU, RAM, and disk — so helpdesk never guesses which machine they are fixing.

Approval-first remote access

Remote sessions start only from a ticket and require explicit user consent. Every start, approve, deny, and end event is logged for compliance and post-incident review.

Always-on visibility

Heartbeat monitoring shows which endpoints are online, which have been offline for 24+ hours, and keeps hardware inventory current without manual audits.

Patch management

Scan and install Windows Updates from the helpdesk ticket panel — reducing travel time and keeping endpoints current without a separate patch console.

What you get today

  • Windows agent (service + MSI installer) with tray approval UI
  • Real-time online/offline status on assets and support tickets
  • Ticket-initiated remote sessions with browser-based viewer
  • Remote mouse and keyboard control after user approval
  • Windows Update scan and install from helpdesk
  • Monitoring dashboard: online count, stale agents, session audit
  • Outbound WebSocket — works through standard corporate firewalls

Built for trust

RMM is designed for regulated and distributed environments where unattended access is not acceptable.

  • Helpdesk role required to start sessions
  • No silent or unattended remote access in Phase 1
  • Session events recorded on each support ticket
  • Per-tenant isolation — your data stays in your deployment
